172 yesterday


Yesterday I was three pounds less than what I weighed when I graduated HS. 172!

Today I am back to 175.

Out of control


I ran 6.6 miles and then like a dope ate two pieces of cake. Arrgh! Weekends suck for food. My diet is shattered for a bit. My last weigh in was 197. Let's see what tomorrow brings.

Ummm... Errr... It seems I gained 4 pounds in a few days. I need to run today. I plan on running 5 miles. Getting under 190 seems impossible. I really need to watch what I eat. I need to be much more vigilant. Too much candy and sweets. Too much beer and wine. Too much food. I know better. I need to do better.

I do around 120 consecutive pushups now. 150 situps and 12 pullups. Every other day or so. I plan on signing up at the gym this Sunday.

Today I weighed 194.0. Better than yesterday not as good as the day before. I plan on eating really light this weekend so I should lose a few. I took the kids to mcds yesterday and ate poorly but very small amounts. I had a little of Noahs ice cream. I ran a lot at the park.

Broke the 200 barrier


I've been knocking on the door for a while. Today is the first day that I weighed myself and I was under 200 lbs. I was on a business trip and ate out a lot so I am not sure how I made it. I thought when I got back that I would have gained a few pounds but I was exactly where I was when I left. I was in San Diego for two weeks. Then yesterday I ate whatever I wanted and still lost a pound. Anyway, this morning I am 199.2. I weighed myself three times just to be sure. The last time I was under 200 lbs I was 25.

Back to 200 lbs pic

I am back to 200.6 after a brief tour of 203.6. It took one night to gain and one week to get off. I lost about a 1/4 pound a day. Walking seems to be the secret weapon. Also, I started drinking protien shakes again in the am. This seems to help with appetite control.

Also what seems to help is eating a bowl of oatmeal before I go to bed and when I wake up. I feel more rested in the morning and always seem to lose more weight than when I go to bed hungry. I can't explain of because it goes against what I have read.


I ran two five mile runs in jan and my knees hurt.
Just did 105 consecutive pushups.
Got 7 pullups.

203.8 was my previous record. I ate too much on Friday and Sunday. I exercised a lot on Sunday... Walking in SF... Ahh the hills of SF. Then I walked 5 miles. Net net...I am down in weight but could be even lower if I did not cheat so much.

Stubborn 205.0


Found the scale. I am 205.0. I seem to get stuck at 205.0. I got stuck here back in 07 when I lost 70lbs. My body refused to go under 205.

Moved

We just moved. I have been sticking to my diet but the workouts have suffered a bit. I walked four miles last night and got up and did 120 consecutive situps.
I did not lose any weight at my last weigh in-still stuck at 205. But my 34 jeans are getting loose. I bought 32 jeans yesterday.
I plan on doing some pushups and then it is off to work. We have not found the scale yet so I don't know how much I weigh. I assume it is lower than before but it's hard to tell.

Stubborn pound


If I lose one more pound, I will be the lightest that I have been in 13 years. Damn is that pound a stubborn one. My net calories after exercise was 750. Yet I managed to gain .5 pounds. Grrrrrr..... So here I am stuck at 205.5.

I weighed in at 205 lbs. This ties me for the lowest. In 2006/2007 I went from 275 to 205. If I loose 1 more pound, it will be the lowest that I have been in 13 years.

Caloric intake for today

1290 calories 163 grams of protein

1290 - 460 = 830 net calories for the day.

If 2000 calories = normal and 1170 is what I did not consume and 3,500 calories = a pound then in 3 days I should loose another pound. If only it really worked that way.... ha ha. My body is very resistant to losing weight once I get below 210 lbs.

I was 206 after the gym work out. (208 when I first woke up, which makes me mad because I was 208 when I went to bed... I usually am about 2 pounds lighter after a good night sleep. Hmmmm.... I did not get a good night sleep.... I think I see a connection.)

Working out this am. Ran one mile on tread. 5 to 8 mph each 1/4 mile. 130 calories burned. Trying to spike my metabolism.

More fun... lifted weights... got 405 on bench... burned 230 + 130 + 100 calories.
460 calories burned.
Drank a protein shake before 160c 35g
Drank an isopure afterward 170c 40g

Gained 1 pound

I followed my diet to a t yesterday. Some how I gained 1 pound this morning. I am 208.

Today


No exercise. 1286 calories with 90 grams of protein. I was 207 lbs this morning. I got down to 206 a few days ago. I wish that I could loose more but am happy with success.
In the green on the right I am 235 lbs (Nov, 15ish 2008).
In the black stripes on the left I am 206 lbs. (Jan 2ish, 2009)

I lost most of this weight in the month of December.

Ok so its been over a year since I have written. I got all the way up to 255 then back down to 215 then back up to 245. I am now 207 (after losing near 30 pounds in one month). I just ran 2.1 miles tonight. I have been closely monitoring my caloric intake. I try to make sure that I am under 1500 calories (until I get below 195).

Today I consumed 1725 Calories and 96 grams of protein.
I burned 327 calories running.
I burned another 100 doing calisthenics.
I also played football with my boys for an hour (I am giving myself 100 for that).

So I figure I burned about 527.

My net calories were 1198.

I used this calculator to calculate the calories burned.
